Rate per payment, plus a €0.30 fixed fee. Visa and Mastercard have the same rates. Personal cards issued in Europe cost the least.
Ezus Pay pricing as of 28 October 2026. Fees exclude VAT.
How the fees are calculated
Three parts, always in the same order. Rates are public, with no subscription.
- 1
The card rate
It depends on the network, the card type and the issuing country. It ranges from 1.19% for a European debit card to 4.19% for an Amex issued outside Europe. SEPA Direct Debit costs 0.3%.
- 2
The fixed fee
€0.30 is added to every payment, by card or by SEPA Direct Debit.
- 3
Conversion, if needed
If the traveler pays in a different currency from your account, 2% is added to the card rate.
Worked examples
- €1,000 deposit by European credit card
- 1.39% × €1,000 + €0.30 = €14.20 excl. VAT
- €2,500 balance by SEPA Direct Debit
- 0.3% × €2,500 + €0.30 = €7.80 excl. VAT
- €3,000 payment by European debit card
- 1.19% × €3,000 + €0.30 = €36.00 excl. VAT
- €3,000 payment by credit card issued outside Europe
- 3.89% × €3,000 + €0.30 = €117.00 excl. VAT
All about payment fees
Multiply the amount by the card rate, then add €0.30. For €1,000 paid with a European credit card: 1.39% × €1,000 + €0.30 = €14.20 excl. VAT. The calculator does this for every card.
Not every card costs banks and networks the same. In Europe, interchange fees on personal cards are capped by law, which makes them cheaper. Corporate cards, Amex and cards issued outside Europe cost more.
The card type is only known at payment. For a quote, use a credit card. It is the safe assumption for a European personal card.
0.3% of the amount plus €0.30, so €7.80 excl. VAT for €2,500. It is paid in euros. The traveler can ask for a refund without giving a reason for eight weeks.
Yes, they exclude VAT. VAT is added based on your agency's country: 20% for an agency based in France.
If the traveler pays in a different currency from your account, 2% is added to the card rate. SEPA Direct Debit is always in euros, so it is not affected.
Not on a personal card in Europe. The law forbids a surcharge for this payment method. So the agency pays the fees, whatever the provider.
No. No subscription, no setup or payout fees. Conversion adds 2% when the payment is in a different currency from your account.
No. When you refund a traveler, the Ezus Pay fee on the original payment is not returned.
It applies the public pricing with the same calculation as the app, rounded to the cent. The real amount depends on the card used, known at payment. An agency with negotiated pricing sees its own rates in the app.
